ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Florida election results in the 2024 Presidential Election started to come in as soon as the polls closed on Election Day, and Amendment 4 on abortion garnered much of the attention nationwide.
So, did Florida voters pass the proposed amendment to enshrine abortion protections into the state's constitution?
The amendment needed 60% to pass. However, with nearly 100% of the votes counted, the amendment is projected to come up short of the 60% threshold, the Associated Press projects.
