NEW PORT RICHEY, FLA. -- New Port Richey Police responded to a shots fired call at the Magnuson Hotel on Saturday morning at about 7:45 a.m.
Upon arrival police found an adult with multiple gunshot wounds lying just outside of a room. The victim was identified as 26-year-old, Jerrell Billy Tomlin who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Jerrell Rayshawn Marcus was identified as a person of interest but has since been ruled out. Detectives are still following up on leads.
