Palm Harbor, Florida -- After a massive manhunt in Palm Harbor, Pinellas deputies say they have a murder suspect in custody.

Michael Lease was captured after being on the run from deputies in connection with a deadly stabbing at an apartment complex on East Lake Drive on Friday.

Lease was spotted at Whitley Ave then ran to the water before deputies could make contact. He was found in the 1100 block of Sail Circle, having broken in to a screened-in patio porch.

The residents were at home at the time, and were unhurt. Lease has been charged with murder and residential burglary.

Deputies say Lease stabbed 23-year-old Dwight Tisdale behind a Palm Harbor Publix shopping center on Friday afternoon. Tisdale was taken to Mease Countryside Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

On Monday afternoon, a judge ordered Lease be held without bond, and appointed a public defender to represent him.
