St. Petersburg, Florida -- Publix has announced it is opening a grocery store at 700 Central Ave., according to a report in the Tampa Bay Times.
The 30,000-square-foot store will be smaller than regular Publix stores and will also have a 3-story parking garage.
The new location is near lots of apartment developments, including the Hermitage, with its 348 rentals.
The next closes Publix is at 250 3rd St S., which is about the same size at 29,000 square feet.
