ORONO, Minn. — During a recent welfare check, a Minnesota officer noticed the woman's yard was overgrown.

The woman said she was okay, but when the officer asked why her yard was so unkempt, she told him she didn't have anyone to mow it for her.

That's when officer Matt Siltala grabbed the lawn mower and cut the yard himself. A photo shared on the Orono Police Department Facebook page shows Siltala in full uniform mowing the woman's lawn.

"I cannot say how proud stuff like this makes us," the department wrote on Facebook.

Commenters on the post have asked about more ways to help the woman and the department it should have more details in a few days.
