Clearwater Police and Clearwater Fire & Rescue responded to the scene of an accident at 1:42 p.m. in the 300 block of David Avenue, just north of Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard.
A Cadillac Escalade --being driven by 44-year-old Elton John Garcia -- veered out of control and left the road and first struck a parked car at 312 David Ave.
A man who was inside the Honda Accord cleaning it was not injured.
Garcia's SUV then continued through the front yards of two other residences and ran into the front porch of 320 David Ave.
Garcia was taken to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg for treatment after the accident. He was driving with a suspended license.
Clearwater firefighters had to stabilize part of the porch structure following the crash.
