LARGO, Fla. — Two winning Mega Millions tickets, both worth $4 million, were sold at two Largo Publix stores located across the street from each other, according to the Florida Lottery.
The stores are located at 10500 Ulmerton Road and 10411 Ulmerton Road — a person could stand in the parking lot of one and glimpse at the other.
The winning numbers in Tuesday night's drawing were 1-5-7-22-24 with MegaBall 8, the Florida Lottery said. Both ticketholders purchased the Megaplier option, which was posted as 4X.
This increased their prize by four times, meaning the tickets are worth $4 million each.
While those two tickets for the second-tier prize managed to be sold, no one was able to take home the $30 million jackpot, the Florida Lottery said. The next Mega Millions jackpot drawing, set for Friday, June 14, will be an estimated $47 million.
