RICHMOND, Va. — Virginia State Police (VSP) are investigating a crash on I-64 in Henrico County Thursday morning.
According to police, a tractor-trailer was traveling westbound on I-64 when the raised bed of the trailer hit an overhead traffic sign at the 200-mile marker around 9:36 a.m. The bed separated from the cab of the truck and remained upright against the damaged sign.
The driver, 62-year-old Richard D. Houston was not injured and no other vehicles were damaged.
Houston is charged with reckless driving.
VSP is still investigating this incident.
