BRADENTON, Fla. -- A 14-year-old was reportedly shot in the knee by an acquaintance at the 6000 block of 34th Street West.
The victim, Drake Blackwell, was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries following the shooting which occurred around 1:51 a.m.Sunday morning.
He told Manatee County Sheriff's Office deputies that an acquaintance was the shooter, but did not provide a reason for the shooting.
No arrest has been made in connection with this incident.
