ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — A cold front will move through Florida Tuesday, bringing even colder air with it.
The National Weather Service in Tampa issued a Frost Advisory for coastal Citrus County and all of Hernando County for the potential for temperatures to drop as low as 33 degrees early Tuesday morning.
Wednesday morning will be even colder!
A Freeze Watch has been issued for the same areas overnight Tuesday to early Wednesday morning for the potential for the temperatures to drop as low as 31 degrees.
If you have any sensitive outdoor plants, you will need to bring those inside for the next few mornings. It goes without saying that your pets need to be protected as well. Make sure that all pets have a warm place to sleep at night.
Overnight low temperatures will warm back to around 40 degrees Wednesday night and back to around 50 degrees Thursday night.
