TAMPA, Fla. — With mid-November already approaching, schools will be closed for Thanksgiving soon.
The holiday is on Thursday, Nov. 28 but students will have off before then with the districts in the Tampa Bay area closing for the week. Some districts will have offices open on the Monday and Tuesday before Thanksgiving but students will still be off.
Here's a county-by-county guide of when the break is:
Citrus County
Schools will be closed Nov. 25-Nov. 29, according to the district's calendar.
Hernando County
Schools will be closed Nov. 25-Nov. 29, according to the district's calendar.
Hillsborough County
Schools will be closed for students Nov. 25-Nov. 29, according to the district's calendar.
Manatee County
Schools will be closed Nov. 25-Nov. 29, according to the district's calendar.
Pasco County
Schools will be closed Nov. 25-Nov. 29, according to the district's calendar.
Pinellas County
Schools will be closed Nov. 25-Nov. 29, according to the district's calendar.
Only certain personnel will be working on the Monday and Tuesday before the holiday.
Polk County
Schools will be closed Nov. 25-Nov. 29, according to the district's calendar.
Sarasota County
Schools will be closed Nov. 25-Nov. 29, according to the district's calendar.
On the Monday and Tuesday before, schools will be closed but admin offices will be open.
