TAMPA, Florida (AP)-- New York Yankees owner George Steinbrenner is no fan of the inaugural World Baseball Classic coming up next month.Steinbrenner began spring training in classic Boss style. He says he's disappointed some of his stars will be leaving camp for the WBC. Derek Jeter, Alex Rodriguez and Johnny Damon are on the U.S. roster. Bernie Williams is on Puerto Rico's preliminary roster.When baseball owners approved the classic in August 2004 at the urging of commissioner Bud Selig, the Yankees abstained.Steinrenner is afraid the Yankees are risking "a lot" if one of their high-priced players gets hurt.But Steinbrenner says "it's Selig's idea and he wants to do it, so I suppose we're going to do it."
