St. Petersburg, FL - St. Pete Mayor Rick Kriseman brokered a deal that would give control of the stadium to Rowdies' owner Bill Edwards.
That would mean all soccer. No baseball.
The city wants the Rowdies to spend $1.5 million dollars upgrading the stadium and eventually bring in other events like concerts.
The city council is set to vote on the deal next week.
