ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Anyone who is planning to take a trip to the Skyway Bridge Fishing Pier – heads up.
Parts of the pier will be temporarily closed this week, park officials announced.
The south span of the park will be closed for repairs of the roadways leading to the pier and other additional roadwork.
All bathrooms and ramps to and from the pier will also not be available during the closure.
The temporary closure began on Monday and will continue until 8 a.m. Friday, Nov. 18.
Visitors can still enjoy time out on the fishing pier through the north span of the park.
