TAMPA, Fla. — Wayfair is “new to the neighborhood!”
Tampa Bay area residents can now shop for furniture pieces in person at one of Wayfair’s two newest stores.
Birch Lane, Wayfair’s furniture specialty brand, celebrated the grand opening of its first-ever line of stores Saturday, with locations in Sarasota and Tampa, according to Sarasota Magazine.
The retailer also opened a store in Boca Raton, according to its website.
Locations at The Mall at University Town Center in Sarasota and International Plaza in Tampa, feature “classic style” furniture pieces that can be found online and in-store. They also offer free design services by appointment, where experts tailor personalized “start-to-finish support on projects big and small.”
“We love being a good neighbor – and are eager to help our customers create a comfortable, joyful home where life's many moments can unfold,” the furniture retailer said in a statement on their website.
The move to physical stores comes after the brand consolidated its organization to cut expenditure costs, according to its “Workforce Realignment Plan” released in January.
