VENICE, Fla. — Venice Beach officially reopened to residents and visitors Friday following intensive repairs from Hurricanes Helene and Milton.
In a news release, City of Venice officials said lifeguards are back on duty and the parking lot, concessions and restrooms are now available.
In addition to reopening the beach, the Florida Department of Health in Sarasota will be conducting regular water quality testing. Residents can access those test results here.
Also, all city parks in Venice have reopened to the public, including:
- Centennial
- West Blalock
- Heritage
- Venezia
- John Nolen
- East Gate
- Mundy
"Families should be aware there may still be large vegetative debris piles near beaches and parks, please use caution," officials stated in the release.
