SARASOTA, Fla. — Police in Sarasota are working to learn more after a teenager was shot at around 6 p.m. Thursday.
It happened near the corner of 29th Street and Gillespie Avenue, the police department said.
At this time, police have not said what led to the shooting, but it is an active investigation. Authorities did not immediately say if anyone was in custody.
