SARASOTA, Fla. — The Sarasota Police Department is investigating an overnight shooting that left one person hurt.
Officers said it happened at 1 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Way and Gillespie Avenue. They said one person has non-life-threatening injuries and was treated at a nearby hospital.
