SARASOTA, Fla. — A death investigation is underway after Sarasota police said they found a man dead outside of a house, for what appears to be "several days."
Authorities said they discovered him at around 4 p.m. on Monday in the area of North Washington Drive and North Boulevard of the Presidents.
"It is apparent the man was there for several days," the department wrote in a news release.
Police have not identified the man yet.
The cause of death is being investigated. SPD wants the public to know that this is believed to be an isolated incident, the public is not endanger and that there are no signs of foul play.
