VENICE, Fla. — The City of Venice confirmed in an X post that 15-year-old Amelia Kerestely, who reportedly went missing Thursday, has been found safe.

A missing child alert has been issued for a teenage girl out of Sarasota County, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE).
Amelia Kerestely was reportedly last seen near the area of Base Avenue East near Davis Street on Saturday, Nov. 9 in Venice. She was wearing an oversized black t-shirt and neon orange and green shorts before she disappeared, according to the agency.
Kerestely is described as 5 feet 2 inches tall and 140 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. Anyone with information on her whereabouts can call FDLE at 1-888-356-4774 or the Venice Police Department at 941-486-2444 or 911.
