Major props go out to Deputy Stacy Brandau who held down the fort until Florida Fish and Wildlife could respond to a gator call over the weekend.
The Sarasota Sheriff's Office says the 4-foot-something little guy was discovered in a parking lot in the 100 block of N Broadway in Englewood around 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
According to witnesses, Deputy Brandau "captured the gator with ease and showed herself to be very professional."
And for those wondering, no, gator trapping isn't technically in her job description, she's just that good.
