WINTER HAVEN, Fla. — Police are responding to a shooting Tuesday afternoon in Winter Haven.
Officers say they received a call at 3:20 p.m. saying someone had been shot inside a home on Avenue F Se.
Police arrived and began assisting the person who was shot until emergency responders arrived. The person was transported to the hospital, where their condition is unknown.
The police department believes there is no danger to the public.
