WINTER HAVEN, Fla. — About three people were injured in a crash Tuesday morning involving a Polk County Sheriff's Office van, an agency spokesperson said.
The crash happened around 5:30 a.m. at the intersection of Spirit Lake Road and Winter Lake Road.
The extent of the individuals' injuries is not known at this time, but it's believed about three were hurt — and all were from another vehicle involved in the crash, the spokesperson said.
Law enforcement reopened the intersection to traffic after 8 a.m. after an hours-long closure.
