POLK COUNTY, Fla. — As Hurricane Milton makes its way through Florida, officials in Polk County announced a list of flooded roads.
County deputies are warning people not to drive through the water and crews will not be able to clear most of the hazards until the winds and rain subside.
Officials said they have notified utility companies about downed power lines, which cannot be removed or repaired until after the storm.
Residents only should be driving in "an absolute emergency."
