LAKE WALES, Fla.—Polk County Fire Rescue crews are responding to reports of a person injured by storm damage Thursday.
Crews said the person injured was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The National Weather Service reported a roof on a home was damaged in Crooked Lake Park.
Most of the Tampa Bay area is under a tornado watch until 4 p.m.
NWS reported a tornado touched down in Manatee County early Thursday morning.
