Missing Child Alert canceled for 12-year-old boy in Davenport

DAVENPORT, Fla. — Update: Mason Miller was found and is safe, according to the Polk County Sheriff's Office.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has issued a Missing Child Alert for a 12-year-old Polk County boy.

Mason Miller is a white-Hispanic boy, 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs 100 pounds, the agency said in a statement. He has black hair and brown eyes. 

He was last seen in the area of Derwent and Buckingham drives in Davenport. At the time, he was reportedly wearing a blue shirt, black basketball shorts and black Crocs. 

Anyone with information on Mason's whereabouts is asked to contact the Polk County Sheriff's Office at 863-298-6200 or 911.
