LAKELAND, Fla. — A Lakeland couple is dead in what appears to be a domestic murder-suicide.
Police found a 50-year-old woman dead at The Park At Verona, an apartment complex in Cleveland Heights. A 60-year-old man was with her, also dead. Officers learned that the two were in a relationship.
According to detectives, evidence at the scene suggests that the man shot his girlfriend and then turned the gun on himself.
