POLK COUNTY, Fla. — Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd, along with local FBI agents are expected to release details on the arrests of several gang members as part of a joint county-federal investigation.
Judd is expected to speak around 10 a.m. Tuesday in Winter Haven. He is set to be joined by Roger Handberg, the U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Florida, State Attorney Brian Haas, FBI Special Agent in Charge Matthew Fodor and Lakeland PD Assistant Chief Steve Pacheco.
Few details about the investigation have been released at this time, but we do know the so-called gang members are part of a federal indictment. Additionally, the result of this investigation led to the "dismantling of their large-scale ongoing criminal conspiracy."
