Plane clips seawall, crashes at Albert Whitted

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- The pilot and a passenger were able to walk away from the crash of a military plane at Albert Whitted Airport on Saturday afternoon.

About 4:20 p.m., a civilian-owned T-34 was trying to land when it came in too low and clipped the seawall. There was minor damage to the plane.

The crash is being investigated by Albert Whitted Airport and aviation authorities.
