ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — A 38-year-old woman died after being injured in a three-vehicle crash in St. Petersburg.
A Ford Escape went through a red light at the intersection of 58th Street North and 9th Avenue North while traveling eastbound on Thursday just before 6 a.m. A Chevy Silverado hit the Ford, which overturned and hit an Infiniti G37 that was stopped at the red light, according to St. Petersburg Police.
The two people in the Ford and the driver of the Infiniti were transported to Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital. Police said the passenger of the Ford was the 38-year-old woman who died of her injuries at the hospital on Sunday.
The medical condition of the Chevy is not available, police said.
St. Pete police are investigating the crash.
