ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Winn Dixie is providing relief for those in need in St. Petersburg during the aftermath of Hurricane Milton.
On Facebook, the supermarket chain announced the event will be at noon Wednesday at their store located on 2139 34th N.
The event provides free water, ice, cleaning essentials and gift cards for more than 250 neighbors in need. Supplies will be given on a first come, first serve basis while they last.
On Tuesday, Winn Dixie hosted another relief event in Sarasota, out of their location on 4230 Bee Ridge Rd.
The events also come after the chain provided free food, water and supplies in Madeira Beach in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene.
