CLEARWATER, Fla. — A man has been hospitalized after a crash between a personal watercraft and vessel in Clearwater Pass, officials say.
Crews from Clearwater Fire & Rescue responded to the collision around 2:30 p.m. Saturday, just west of the Sand Key Bridge.
Details at this time are limited, though officials say the man was brought onto another boat and taken to shore before being transported to Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital in St. Pete as a trauma alert.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is reportedly investigating the crash.
