TREASURE ISLAND, Fla. – Pinellas County said a water main break, which caused flooding and forced 1st Street East to close Wednesday morning, has been fixed.
The culprit, a 12-inch water line at 254 107th Ave. in Treasure Island, has been repaired, according to utility crews.
No boil water notice is in place at this time.
As of Wednesday afternoon, both westbound lanes of 107th Avenue remained closed, and westbound traffic from the Treasure Island Causeway to 107th Avenue was being detoured onto 108th Avenue. Eastbound traffic to the Causeway via 107th Avenue was not affected.
The roadway is expected to reopen by the end of the day on Thursday.
