PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. — A Largo woman is dead after Florida Highway Patrol troopers say she was hit by a driver in Pinellas County.
It happened just after 8 p.m. Sunday on Ulmerton Road near 58th Street North. Troopers say a 51-year-old Clearwater woman was driving westbound on Ulmerton Road in her Acura SUV.
East of 58th Street North, a 51-year-old Largo woman attempted to walk across the roadway. However, according to FHP, she walked out in front of the SUV and was hit by the driver.
The Largo woman died at the scene of the crash.
