FBI conducting 'court-authorized' activity at Tarpon Springs home

Few details are available at this time. 10 Tampa Bay is working to gather more information.

TARPON SPRINGS, Fla. — The FBI said it is conducting a "court-authorized activity" at a home in Tarpon Springs.

An agency spokesperson tells 10 Tampa Bay no further details are available at this time.

A crew with 10 Tampa Bay saw FBI agents outside the home along Lincoln Avenue in Tarpon Springs. Law enforcement left Monday afternoon after spending the morning going in and out of the home. FBI agents were holding binders and boxes.

The FBI wouldn't confirm any other details as to why they were at the home, aside from conducting "court-authorized" activity.

10 Tampa Bay looked into who owns the home. According to the Pinellas County Property Appraiser, a man named Curtis Sanders is the owner of the home. Records show he has owned that home for at least 22 years.

Curtis Sanders and that same address, 711 Lincoln Avenue, is linked to a Pasco County arrest. Law enforcement accused Curtis Sanders of solicitation to commit murder. The charges were later dropped.

10 Tampa Bay obtained the arrest report where investigators said Sanders told a confidential informant he wanted to kill a man named Stephan Fullman. The case was dropped.

FBI agents haven't released any information about Sanders directly, but were at his house. No details yet on why specifically law enforcement was there.
