ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — St. Petersburg Police officers are investigating a crash involving a school bus and Jeep that sent five kids to the hospital.
The crash happened at the intersection of 27th Avenue South and 37th Street South on Monday morning, according to a news release.
There were 15 passengers on the bus from Azalea Middle School and five kids were transported to the hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the silver Jeep Patriot was also taken to the hospital, but his or her condition is unknown.
Pictures from the scene show a scuff mark on the side of the bus, and the front of the Jeep heavily damaged with dents and the side mirror hanging down.
