ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — A new luxury condominium tower has officially opened in the heart of downtown St. Petersburg.

The 18-story building — called Reflection — is located at 777 3rd Avenue North Street. It offers 88 units which are up to 2,285 square feet, according to the website.

There are various amenities included in the complex, including a 12,000-square-foot rooftop deck that offers panoramic views of Mirror Lake, Tampa Bay and the Sunshine Skyway Bridge.

Residents also have access to a tropical oasis pool deck featuring a pool, spa and sauna. A "state-of-the-art fitness center" is also available onsite, the website states.

Concierge service is available to all residents, offering private golf car transportation to their favorite restaurant or downtown destination. According to a news release, ground-floor retail shops are currently in the works as well.

All units are equipped with floor-to-ceiling windows and terrace-style balconies. Homes that are on the 7th floor have additional outdoor living space with pedestal pavers and artificial turf, according to the release.

Reflection is "hurricane-proof," the release stated. That's because it's 30 feet above sea level, and it can withstand a Category 4 hurricane with impact glass and a backup generator.

The developers, HP Capital Group, also announced that a unique mural will be created on the building by an international artist. It will be part of the Shine St. Petersburg Mural Festival on Oct. 11-20.

The mural, which will be above the lobby, will not only highlight the unique architecture along the west side of the building, but it will also honor the overall arts and culture in St. Petersburg.
