ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Update: St. Petersburg Police say Livio Antonio Mota was found and is safe. The department made the announcement at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Previous story: The St. Petersburg Police Department (SPPD) is actively searching for an endangered 84-year-old man who has reportedly been missing since Monday morning.
Livio Antonio Mota was last seen walking away from his home on 37th Street South, the department said in the alert. He reportedly suffers from mental confusion.
Mota is described as 5'8'' and 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray jacket with yellow lettering, gray sweatpants with lettering down the side and blue crocs, according to police.
SPPD says a Pinellas County Sheriff's Office helicopter is helping locate Mota, as well as bloodhounds. They also sent out drones in the Clam Bayou Park area Tuesday morning.
