Shooting in St. Petersburg leaves teen hurt

Police said the teen was "uncooperative" with officers and had minor injuries.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — A teen was hurt after a shooting Sunday night in St. Petersburg, police said. 

According to police, the shooting happened around 11 p.m. Sunday in the alley on 5th Avenue N near 36th Street N. Officers say the teen was shot in the butt but their injuries were minor. 

St. Petersburg police said the teen was "uncooperative" with officers. Police did not identify the teen nor did they release the age of the teen to 10 Tampa Bay. 

Police did not offer additional details about what led to the shooting, how many shots were fired, who else may have been involved, or if any arrests were made.
