ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Two people are injured after a shooting early Saturday morning in Pinellas County, according to Gulfport police.
At about 3:22 a.m., officers went to the area of Eighth Avenue South and 49th Street in Gulfport for reports of gunshots. When they arrived, they found two people shot.
One victim was a 21-year-old man and the other was a 19-year-old man, police said in a news release. They believe there is also at least one other person shot or injured.
The 19-year-old's condition appears to be improving, officers said in an update.
