CLEARWATER, Fla. — Update: Deputies found him safe as of a news release just after 8 a.m.
Pinellas County deputies issued a Purple Alert for a Clearwater man.
Robert Shank, 58, was last seen on Wednesday at 1 a.m. in the backyard of his residence on Hunt Lane.
He is a 5'9 white man who weighs about 210 lbs with brown hair, eyes and facial hair. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt and gray shorts and is believed to be on foot.
Anyone with information on Shank's whereabouts is asked to contact law enforcement immediately.
