A man was killed after he was hit by a car while riding a bike Saturday night in St. Petersburg.
Kurt Kautz, 66, died from his injuries after being hit around 6 p.m. at the intersection of 54th Avenue North and MLK Street, according to the St. Petersburg Police Department.
The driver who hit him is reportedly cooperating with officers.
The intersection was closed but has since reopened.
