ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — A man was killed after he was hit by a car while riding a bike Saturday night in St. Petersburg.
The incident happened around 6 p.m. at the intersection of 54th Avenue North and MLK Street, according to the St. Petersburg Police Department.
The man riding the bike died from his injuries at the scene. The driver who hit him is reportedly cooperating with officers.
The intersection will remain closed in all directions as the department continues to investigate.
