LARGO, Fla. — A child is hospitalized after being shot Wednesday night in Largo, police say.
The Largo Police Department said the shooting happened in the area of Clearwater Largo Road and New Jersey Street. The child who suffered a gunshot wound was hospitalized and is reportedly stable.
The agency is investigating the shooting and believes it was an isolated incident with no threat to the public. The police department has not released any more information.
