BELLEAIR, Fla. -- The Belleview Biltmore Hotel has a new look, a new name and a slightly new location after 120 years.
During its $13 million in renovations, it was moved about 300 feet and had its original lobby restored to its former elegance along with 35 original rooms. Its new name: Belleview Inn.
The boutique hotel is the centerpiece of a new luxury residential development from JMC Development that also includes mid-rise condominiums and townhomes.

The Belleview Biltmore Hotel was hosted celebrities and leaders like Babe Ruth, Marilyn Monroe, the Duke of Windsor, Margaret Thatcher and numerous U.S. presidents. Mr. Rogers also stayed there and even gave swim lessons.
The new Belleview Inn contains nods to many of these famous former guests. And, don't worry, the hotel's iconic Tiffany glass ceiling was evaluated and restored by local craftsmen and has been re-installed in the Tiffany room.
