TARPON SPRINGS, Fla. — A disgruntled employee was arrested on Friday after she set a car on fire in the parking lot of the building where she works, Tarpon Springs police report.

Officers were called just after 11 a.m. to Tarpon Tower, located on E Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, to reports of a woman attempting to set a fire.

They arrived to find 35-year-old Amber Galbraith in the parking lot, the police department wrote.

Investigators said they were able to determine that Galbraith was an employee of a business that operated out of Tarpon Tower and "recently became upset about a disciplinary matter."

According to police, Galbraith first attempted to get into the building with ignitable liquids but was deterred by employees. That's when she reportedly set fire to a parked car outside.

Galbraith was charged with counts of arson, battery and obstruction and booked into the Pinellas County Jail.
