PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. — Pinellas County deputies have reopened Pinellas County, including the barrier islands, after shutting it down due to damage from Hurricane Milton.
Law enforcement officials are still warning citizens to stay off all roadways due to hazardous conditions such as traffic light outages, downed powerlines, flooding and significant debris blocking roads.
The county was shut down at the county lines and barrier islands were closed but opened as of 8:45 a.m. Thursday.
