Police investigating St. Pete hit-and-run that left 1 woman dead

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — A woman was killed after she was hit in a crosswalk Tuesday night in St. Petersburg.

Kathy Repke, 62, was hit by a car while she was crossing 4th Street N near 70th Avenue N, and the driver left without calling the police or an ambulance, according to St. Petersburg police.

Repke was taken to Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital where she was pronounced dead. 

Police say they are now speaking with Rosalyn Fuller, 58, who they think has information that can help with the investigation and determine who was driving the car.
