ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Two adults are dead and a child is seriously hurt after a crash between a tow truck and a small SUV in St. Petersburg.
St. Pete police say the crash happened just before 5 p.m. in the area of 5th Avenue South and 22nd Street South.
Two passengers inside the SUV died from their injuries. The child was taken to Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital for treatment.
Police are investigating this crash and say the intersection will be closed for several hours. Drivers should seek alternate routes.
