CLEARWATER, Fla. -- Deputies forced their way into a home early Sunday as a man, accused of serving alcoholic drinks to minors, reportedly held everyone against their will.
The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office was alerted of an open house party being held at the home of 36-year-old Christopher Blacharski after a teen was taken to a hospital for having too much to drink, according to a news release.
According to a police report, the party was being held for a 17-year-old, and Blacharski provided "copious amounts of alcohol," including mixed drinks.
Deputies were told there were four minors inside the home when they arrived at Alemanda Drive after midnight Sunday.
Blacharski responded in kind, locking the doors and wouldn't allow anyone to leave -- even as parents began arriving to pick up their kids, the police report says. He ordered the minors to go into a back bedroom.
One victim told deputies she was too afraid of Blacharski to leave, even though she knew law enforcement was outside. A couple other juveniles were texting with people outside, saying they were stuck.
Deputies eventually forced entry into the home for everyone's safety.
Blacharski is charged with false imprisonment and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
