PINELLAS PARK, Fla. — A Clearwater firefighter is in custody after surveillance video caught him revealing himself to a teenage girl in March, according to a Pinellas Park police news release.
Surveillance footage from March 6 at a 7-Eleven located at 9401 49th Street N., appears to show the firefighter, 22-year-old Fisher Davis, lifting the leg of his shorts and revealing his genitals after following an 18-year-old girl into the gas station.
The man can be seen following the catholic school student to the back coolers of the store with his shorts still up, standing close to her. Officials said it seemed like Davis was hoping she saw what he was doing.
The store's manager noticed the act on the store's surveillance cameras and confronted Davis. Police say Davis then lowered his shorts and exited the store, driving off in his silver GMC pickup truck.
After further investigation, Pinellas Park police arrested Davis on Wednesday and charged him with exposure of sexual organs.
Davis, who had been with Clearwater Fire and Rescue since August 2023, was fired from the department.
"This is a disturbing allegation and not representative of the men and women of Clearwater Fire & Rescue," Clearwater Fire and Rescue Chief Scott Ehlers said in a statement on Wednesday. "Since he is a probationary employee Fisher [Davis] is being terminated effective today."
